As an Intimacy Coordinator, I specialize in supporting film, television, and production teams by creating structured, respectful, and collaborative environments for scenes involving intimacy, vulnerability, or heightened physical connection.
With a background in performance, stunt work, and on-set production, I bring a unique understanding of the demands of storytelling while prioritizing performer safety, consent, and clear communication. I work closely with directors, actors, producers, and crew to develop thoughtful approaches that protect performers while preserving the creative vision of the project.
My role includes facilitating pre-production conversations, choreographing intimate scenes, supporting communication between departments, and ensuring that all participants feel respected and prepared throughout the process.

About Michelle
Michelle Herzl is a Intimacy Coordinator dedicated to fostering safe, respectful, and inclusive environments on set. With extensive training in consent, anti-harassment, and trauma-informed communication, she ensures that intimate scenes are choreographed with professionalism, clarity, and care.
Her education includes the Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC) SAG-AFTRA Accredited Intimacy Coordinator Training Program and have pursued additional professional development through a variety of industry training programs, workshops and continuing education opportunities. This ongoing commitment to learning allows me to stay current with evolving best practices in performer advocacy, safety, communication and intimacy coordination.

In addition to intimacy coordination, Michelle has a background as a Stunt Performer, Self-Defense Instructor, and Wellness Advisor. Her experience in high-stakes environments enables her to navigate the nuances of power dynamics and vulnerability with confidence and sensitivity.
